I'm Kevin Allison, and every Thursday we release these special episodes where we look back

at content from the earlier years of the podcast.

This week, it's the best of queer lives number three. This is a

phenomenal episode today. And it kicks off a whole month's worth of LGBTQ content mixed in

with our usual content this month. It's very clear. It's more important than ever right now

for us queer folks to be sharing, to be heard,

and to hear one another. So our Pride Month offerings are going to be amazing this June.

You know, folks, one thing I did not see coming when I first launched Risk in 2009 is the extent to which

risk listeners would basically co-create the show. Our staff is made up of risk fans. The

stories we feature on the show, I would say most are by risk listeners.

Many of the workshops we lead are filled with risk listeners who are the best sort of people

to have in a workshop and are curated social events that we call What's Your Story are like

that too. Now, you might have heard that I started teaching online

storytelling workshops again this summer. I'm teaching them on Zoom. I'm trying to get these in
