Hello and welcome to another episode of Deep State Radio.

This is David Rothkoff. I'm here in the isolation ward of the

fourth sub-basement of the Ministry of Snark because I am still struggling with

Bubonic Plague or whatever it is that I've got. And in healthier parts of the ministry,

an author of The Road Not Taken,

Edward Lansdale, and the American tragedy in Vietnam,

which is a wonderful new book, and Rosa Brooks, who is at Georgetown as we know,

and part of our team here and written many

wonderful books and probably has one do that she's struggling with or hasn't

even started yet probably right Rosa correct Rosa? Correct.

So it's always a pleasure to discuss somebody's book who's finished, actually finished their book.
