My wife and I taking the kids out for ice cream the other night.

And the question is, where do you go?

I said, all right, kids, we're going to Coldstone creamery. And my wife said, no, Baskin Robbins. And I'm like, are you nuts? Would anyone in this room choose Baskin Robbins over Coldstone Creamery? Yeah, 31 flavors. Let's go. It's simple. The Coldstone Creamery, they mix it all up and it's on the slam. But that's what I want to avoid sometimes.

I want to be in and out. Like, hey, let's get out of here. You get your cotton candy ice cream because kids always love cotton candy ice cream. I'll get my chocolate chip or cookie dough and bounce. I don't need the whole song and dance all the time. Every once in a while it's nice. If you don't get ice cream all that often, or it's a special

event, or the kid just performed at an assembly, or he won a game and you want to get him something extra, I think Coltstone Creamery is a little extra. I don't know, Dan Byer. I kind of like it. I don't love it or got to have it. Dan Byer, I feel like you're going to be team rich on this. Coltstone?

I feel that they're almost two different entities, whereas Colston is like a five guys,

and Baskin-Robbins is McDonald's.

So there is a bit of an upper tier of burger, but it also just kind of what Kavino is saying,

there's a difference of what, yeah, like, yeah, it depends. But if you're choosing one, I think Coldstone, like, quality-wise, it's got to be better. Yeah, Danny Chee, what do you think? Coldstone, but I have left Coldstone before and felt very fat. Because you've got to have it. You got to love it like it. Got to have it. It's too rich. So the smallest serving Coldstone will offer you. That's what I would take. I would say like for a

weekly thing, if you went once a week, it would be Baskin Robbins. You know what else I like to

share though, the fact that when I was a kid, Baskin Robbins was the big deal. So I like to share that with my kids. Hey, when Aunt Sharon took dad to Baskin Robbins, that meant something. So here you go. Let's share this experience together. They had 31 flavors. Back then, that was a lot. Did you guys not grow up with the frozen yogurt boom on the East Coast? I love Troyo. That's our choice these days. Remember back of the day for a minute in the 2000s, Pinkberry was a thing? Oh yeah. Oh, yeah. There's still some locations. Frozen yogurt land and all this stuff. Perfet. What was the, wasn't there like a Dippendots place or am I tripping? Do you mean the ice cream in the future?

Yeah, I loved, well, first time, I love dipping dots, but like, why don't we have Ben and Jerry's in here as an option? Well, Ben and Jerry's great. It's great. There's one right across the street from the Fox Sports Radio Studio. But, yeah, they're great. It's the same thing you get in the tub at the store, but like you can get fish food in a waffle cone.

I'll tell you why it's not an option because Rich started the story saying I'm going to Coldstone and his wife said, we're not going to Baskin Robbins, right? I mean, listen, there's a million options. And your other wife then didn't jump in and say, why aren't we going to Menchies? Let me tell you, if I was on the East Coast, Dan Byer, I would say, what about Carvel or Mr. Softie?

I'm saying, I said it was like 7 o'clock, our kids, bedtime soon, but dad wants ice cream. Everyone hop in the car. And I was assuming Colts, though, would be like, yay! Right. So if you have thoughts, we're not asking for Dairy Queen, right?
