Here's some good news.

This is, I hesitate to give you hope, because if you have no hope, you can't have your hope crushed.

But here's a little hope for you.

Risky playgrounds where kids can climb and maybe fall and maybe get banged up are making a comeback, bringing adventure back into play.

Is it because only all psychologists and people know anything about child development say that's a good idea?

Only because it's universal.

Right.

That we realize it's necessary for a development.

If you're new to the Armstrong and Getty Show, we have been militant about this through the years, the veal kafization of our children.

Trying to turn them into a helicopter pampered, no adventure, constantly supervised little veal calves.

It's just terrible.

Convincing them that the world is just this thing that is a scary monster ready to hurt you at a moment's notice.

Right, exactly.

And we've gone from being the country that, in part of it is moms and dads, but certainly there are moms who don't fit this cliche and dads and the rest of it.
