Russia's war in Ukraine and the torrent of climate catastrophes are fueling even more despair,

but my first guest tonight is trying to get a handle on all these crises.

Krista Georgieva is the managing director of the International Monetary Fund,

and we spoke at the UN General Assembly in September after she released a report warning of

what's to come in the new year.
