0:28.5 | So I know this is one of the sexiest ones but it's one of the tough loved ones that a lot of times you have to do. |
0:32.9 | We've been talking about training sessions recently and managing a team, etc. and giving you tactics that will help you improve your sessions and make you more money. |
0:40.5 | Sometimes some people are just beyond coaching or maybe they're not beyond coaching but they're beyond the level of effort that you want to invest into them to grow them to the team member that they should be. |
0:52.5 | And so a lot of people really hate hard conversations and it's a lot of times it's because we don't have the formula for how we can approach them. |
1:02.5 | And after having managed a lot of trainers in my day, good, bad, ugly, etc. |
1:08.5 | I've dealt with a lot of things, trainers, you know, stealing product, stealing cash, you know, sleeping with clients, showing up late, you know, showing up late or no, no, no, no, no, no call no showing for the five amp. |
1:21.5 | Session like I get it. We've all been there. Okay. |
1:26.5 | And I've dealt with all of them and the way that this is my incredibly simple firing script and it works amazingly well. |
1:36.5 | So first from an HR standpoint, you have to make sure that if you ever do have grievances with an employee, you need to have them noted and documented. |
1:42.5 | You both sign off on them so that there's a clear understanding and you should do that anyways just because like if you don't like something that your trainers doing, you need to articulate that to them. |
1:50.5 | Right. It doesn't need to be a trainer, it could be, you know, an admin or whatever, right. Same thing, but it has to be articulated so that they know, right. That's just being a fair human being. |
1:59.5 | But if you have done that, if provided you have had that and you know, they've had one or two or three strikes or whatever it is, right. |
2:07.5 | What you say to them is this. |
2:11.5 | Hey, so and so employee. So they just sat down with you. You have your quick small talk. And for me, I'm usually really, really direct with this. |
2:18.5 | I'm like, hey, I'm not, I'm not one to make. I usually say like, I'm not going to make a lot of small talk. |
2:24.5 | But here's the deal. You know, you know, employee XYZ that we are trying to and then project a big vision. |
