As the mom of four young boys, I know motherhood's hard.

Sometimes I think I make it harder than it needs to be.

By putting myself in the center of things or even my kids,

I forget to place God there and be led by His Spirit.

I also tend to forget that I'm surrounded by God.

He goes before me, he walks with me on the hard days,

and he comes behind me when I make a mistake.

So each week I'll interview someone new and we'll discuss what it means

I have told you with the last podcast that I was interviewing a mentee

and I've interviewed mentors.

Well, y'all today I have Nancy Williams and she actually is the mentor

to my mentor. It's like the grandmother mentor, right?

I guess so.

Well, generationally, yeah.

And what I love about the relationship I have with Nancy is not just that,

but when I met Nancy at a women's retreat for our church,

we were just talking about where we're from and I happened to mention

I was from Carmel, Indiana and she says, no, no way.

We find out that she was in a Bible study with my mom back.
