Richies, Hollywood’s pat-ourselves-on-the-back awards season kicked off last night with the 81st Golden Globes, where the best in TV and film were honored. There were a few truly historic wins (shoutouts to Ali Wong, Steven Yeun and Lily Gladstone!) and while “Oppenheimer” and “Succession” snagged the most Globes, it’s not the trophies people are talking about today. First-time host, comedian Jo Koy, may have delivered a bigger bomb than the real-life Oppenheimer, as plenty of his jokes fell flat and left celebs in the audience cringing. Might be time to bring in a pair of smart, hilarious podcasters to host. Just sayin’.
