0:46.0	I have a list on my desktop of all the contenders for the best of the year and I have to keep

0:54.8	listening to and it's like uh well these 30 are in the heavy rotation and then we
1:02.3	winnow it down.

1:04.0	As I always say, these are the albums I would take out after I rescued my wife Carmel if the house was on fire.
1:11.0	Yeah, I hear you. I've sort of taken to keeping a playlist going of
1:16.0	stuff that really moves me so that it reminds me of the albums that I I love and
1:21.0	I think that my criterion has always been, I always sort of cringe a little bit when I say here are the best albums of the year. Like they're the best albums for me. They're my favorite records. They're the records I listen to the most, the lessons that
1:34.1	inspired me the most during the course of the year. I don't pretend to think that everybody else
1:37.5	thinks they're the best. But they certainly work for me.
1:40.3	Well the professor will add all criticism criticism is subjective, and we welcome everybody else's opinions.
1:46.3	You know, traditionally it's the top 10, but you and I both have lists of 20, which people can find on sound opinions.org, and we're going to jump around
1:56.4	working from further down the list to our top albums of the year and not duplicating
2:01.9	each other because there's a couple that are on both of our
