All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of the tear down my name is jeff gluck i'm

along with my co-worker jordan bianke we are motorsports writers for the athletic and we have

one week this is our last episode before we actually have real racing to talk about on the track.

A week from now, we were recording this Sunday, January 29th, and a week from now,

we will be together in Los Angeles, California, at the Coliseum, and we will be able to have

a real post-race podcast after that.

So that would be very fun to talk about the clash there.

Jordan didn't get to go last year.

So I'm so excited to see what his take is on it and how he views it.

And I'll be able to compare what I thought, you know, last year's race to this year's race and the event and all that stuff.

So lots of exciting stuff

to talk about. But first, one last sort of offseason episode here, Jordan. How are you doing today?

I'm doing well. I'm excited for the clash next week. I chose not to go last year. And I literally,

I was okay with the decision. And then the first activity or whatever I saw, you know, the social media posts and I went, man,

I merely made a bad choice. Like, why did I not go? And it was a big feeling of missing out.

So I'm looking to go. I made the right decision this year to go. Looking forward to it's going to

fun. And I think your point, and I've heard this from other people, is like, well, it's going to

be interesting to compare. You year one to year two at the

same energy levels there the same enthusiasm is there and is this was last year just kind of lightning in a

bottle and a one-off thing or is this something that could be something more and it can become a

yearly thing and very curious to see that it's going to be interesting to see how this unfolds
