Summary
Week 7’s slate might not have been the best one we’ve seen this season, but it did give us a better grip on more than a few teams. First and foremost: The Bengals are really good. Jenny, Conor and Gary break down not just the emergence of Joe Burrow and the (controversial, at the time) addition of Ja’Marr Chase, but the overlooked defense that is fueling their early success just as much.
Then, a look at everything going wrong for the Chiefs, coming off their worst game of the Mahomes era, sorting through a wet win for the Colts on Sunday night and figuring out just where Carson Wentz stands.
Plus, a discussion on the continued absurdity that is the Deshaun Watson rumor mill, in light of reports that the Dolphins and Panthers are ready to leap without looking.

| 0:12.0 | This was week seven, and it was Sunday and there were a lot of |
| 0:16.3 | blowouts and there are a lot of non-thrilling games but there were a lot of |
| 0:20.3 | very happy stories and we're going to start with one up top here and then |
| 0:25.0 | we'll move on we'll have some stuff on on the chiefs and what's wrong with them |
| 0:28.1 | we'll have the the trade chatter around a Texans quarterback quarterback etc but let's start with the formerly |
| 0:36.7 | relegated to the lightning round Cincinnati Bengals who go into Baltimore |
| 0:41.8 | and you know we've praised the Ravens very rightly so |
| 0:46.1 | over the past couple of weeks but the Bengals just really got the better of the |
| 0:50.6 | Ravens in Baltimore here and even on a day when I'll start with the |
| 0:54.6 | off of the side of the ball with with Cincinnati here I mean this was the day |
| 0:57.9 | when Joe Burrow was kind of getting beat up they would they came after him they |
| 1:01.4 | knocked him around and they just ended up just hanging a couple big plays here on the Ravens in the passing game and then sort of pulling away here. |
| 1:11.0 | Yeah, there was that 80 plus yard touchdown to |
| 1:14.4 | Jamar Chase and I think you make a great point Gary that this was a game |
| 1:20.4 | where they had to kind of fight it out to open up the margins and they really were able to stick with the ravens and then ultimately it wasn't even close at all. |
| 1:31.6 | I think early in the season it was hard to know what to make of the |
| 1:34.9 | bangles even when they were three and one that included a loss to the bears and overtime |
| 1:39.2 | win. They had a tight game against the lowly Jaguars, so what were they exactly? |
