Summary
A noted sociologist returns to the city of his boyhood to find it has changed for the worse. He decides to explore a tavern and ends up being surrounded and beaten by the owner and his cronies, who press charges against him and perjure themselves in court -where the judge is in on the fix. Later, a strange quirk of fate allows the wronged man a chance at revenge.
