We're going to begin a new series and the name of the series is don't forget the benefits.

And we're going to be talking about the benefits that are listed in Psalm 103.

And let me tell you what I want us to do. I want us to memorize the first five

verses and we'll do that over the next few messages. It'll be very easy to do. I have to tell you what my son

James told me this last week. He's 15 and he told me he said I I feel like you're doing something wrong at the church dad and so obviously since he's 15, I wanted his input, you know.

And so I said, well, what am I doing wrong?

He said, well, I think you're preaching too many good messages.

And we know that the church is going to grow.

I think it would be best if you'd save your good messages

until the church gets larger.

So, you know, it is amazing though that even as a pastor,

you kind of have these thoughts, am I going to run out you know I mean God so far I think it's been good I don't know what you think but I think it's been real good and you know I he got me kind of thinking I I got thinking, you know, God, am I going to run out here, you know?

And the Lord kind of woke me up and said, son, they're not your messages.

They're mine, and guess what what I'm not going to run out. I'm doing okay in that department.

So anyway, also yesterday was my birthday. I'm thank you. Thank you. I'm, thank you, thank you. I'm 20 years old and that is the truth.

20 years ago on February 16th in 1981 in Jake's motel room 12.

Thank you. I got saved and And so according to the Bible, I was dead in my trespasses and sins before that. So I'm claiming that I am 20 years old. So I'm not even legally ill enough to take communion yet.

All right, but anyway, I'm, that one, okay, let's go.

Psalm 103, we're going to talk about the benefits.

Verse 1, bless the Lord, O my soul,

and all that is within me.

Bless his holy name.
