Bismillah al-hamdulillah, wa salat wa salam wa ala Rasulillah, wa ala ala alihi wa sahbihi,

wa men wa lahama bad.

I recited Surah Yasin to the beginning and last verses of Surah Yasin.

So a brief reminder of some of the lessons and in particular,

one particular lesson of Surah Yasin.

Of course, Surah Yasin, as we know, it is one of the most beloved Surahs of the Muslim Ummah.

And it is true to say, and there's nothing wrong with this,

that indeed the Qur'an is the, all of it is the Majestic Kalam of Allah.

But some portions of the Qur'an are more blessed than other portions.

All of the Qur'an is blessed, but is the Qur'an equally blessed?

Our scholars have said, the Ahadith clearly indicate that some ayat

have more blessings than other ayat.

Ayatul Kursi is the most blessed ayat of the Qur'an.

Surah Talfatihah is sub-al-Mathani.

Kulhu Allahu A'at is one third of the Qur'an.

So some Qur'an is more blessed than other Qur'an,

and all of the Qur'an is infinitely more blessed than any other speech.

So out of the surahs of the Qur'an,

Surah Yasin has always occupied a special status in the Muslim Ummah.
