What we're talking about is toppling Goliath.

One of their brewers who worked there for two years, when he got signed on, he signed a non-compete agreement, as you do with some companies.

And it seems to be a common thing in a lot of brewing companies nowadays.

I've heard non-compete clauses at some of the other places around town, even here. Yeah, it's a bigger move amongst corporate America, though. You know, it's a

thing that you associate with large companies. They want to own you for a little bit. Yeah.

Including after you stop working there. So this guy left Toppling Goliath, ended up going and

working at another brewery as their head brewer.

Tobling Goliath goes over and sues him, sues that other brewery, which is completely within their right.

He signed that agreement.

But man, what a shitty move.

It was really like a bad PR move.

Yeah.

It really seems to have backfired on them in that way, at least.
