Hey folks, so this episode is a bit different than our normal show.

Both Mike and Anastasia are out of town this week, so Grant and I decided to invite a couple of old friends to record with us.

These guys, Martin Thomas and Tony Guerrero, are two guys that we used to podcast with Back in the Spill.com days,

where we'd meet once a week and do a podcast

about a bunch of geeky shit, like movies and comics, TV shows, things like that.

Now, these guys do like craft beer, but they're not beer geeks at all, which is to say

they don't think a whole lot about beer, they don't go around and taste everything, they

generally just stick with

what they like. But as you'll find out, they're pretty fun on the microphone, they're good

friends of ours, and we haven't recorded a show with them in probably five years, never on

this show, so we were all pretty excited to get together to do this. Now, you're going to get some

discussion about the beer we're tasting, but we do veer off

on a bunch of tangents.

It's not quite as focused as the type of show you've come to expect from us.

So I just wanted to warn you a little bit about that before we got started.

And next week, Grant's going to be out, but Mike will be back, and we're going to have

two other guests to fill in for Anastasia and Grant.

But those are going to be more beer people, and we should be back to something that resembles a little more of normal here.

So look forward to that.

Now, one other thing that I do want to say before we get started is, last year, as you know, we had our big fifth anniversary party.

And there were a bunch of other things that we organized around that, like brewery tours, things like that.

This year is going to be a little bit different.
