John chapter 6 is such a powerful passage.

I want you to notice that it begins in verse 1 with the feeding of the 5,000, right?

And then once we get to the end of chapter six,

once we get actually to verse 53,

the Lord begins to speak about he himself being our food.

To the degree that he says most assuredly, I say to you,

unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood,

you have no life in you.

Whoever eats my flesh, look there at verse 53, sorry, 54, whoever eats my flesh and drinks there at verse 53 sorry for 54 whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood

has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day for my flesh is food indeed and my blood

is drink indeed he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him.

As the living father sent me and I live because of the father, so he who feeds on me will

live because of me.

This is the bread which came down from heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna and

are dead.

He who eats this bread will live forever."

It's pretty interesting to me that in verse 60, what does verse 60 begin with?

Look down to your Bible.

What's the first word?

Therefore.
