All right

Hey, everybody

It's 6.55 p.m. on the east coast and we're hanging out on the on this August 9th really really beautiful day a productive day and I'm looking forward to this this evening's broadcast

It's going to be longer than last one last night's broadcast though not a full two hours

Because at 8.30 p.m. tonight eastern time we are going to be bouncing off of here and jumping into session two of our book club session

Our book club convening of the book club for the devil in the white city. It's going to be another good one but more than enough time to get a solid hour in with our guest of the evening and that man's name is Mike Williams

And we're going to be talking about the I already know that we can bring Mike on for an entire series of discussions about a number of very compelling subjects

But tonight I wanted to bring him on for the very special Beatles conspiracy conversation

I don't know how much we're going to be able to do within an hour I think we could be able to get all of the most important points out of the way

But you know this was one of those guests that I went out and I we grabbed right around the time that the news came out of the Daily Mail and elsewhere about the second gun, the second bullet

That was found at the Dakota at the scene of John Lennon's assassination which of course lends itself to the idea that there was another person there

You start wondering what is going on why two people what's going on with this what are the time there's so much but that really that's the end of that's the tip of the iceberg at the bottom

Because that's toward the tail end of the the Beatles

You know that whole story

But when you think about what they've done it all happened really in the public eye between 1964 especially in the United States to 1970

It's a six year journey that feels like it was a 30 year career

And that's what I always talk about with my friends you know it's just incredible what was done within six years you think you went on for a couple of decades

What the hell is happening and it's a Cinderella story as to how they even landed in the United States the conditions under which they landed

And hey you know I like their music I was raised on it and it's one of those things where you start peeking behind the curtain you might find some dark reality some dark history behind something that used to be so innocent
