Summary

Six weeks ago in Camelot, Merida led the clever one on a dangerous adventure to save her brother's fate. Doesn't changing one's own fate means that she's controlling what her fate would be? Back at the present, however, Rumplestiltskin led Belle away from their quivered friend, who was tasked by the Dark Swan to put an arrow to her heart. But who is Nimue? Is she really the only person who can help defeat the Dark One? Listen to our full discussion of the episode, The Bear and the Bow as we talk about all these questions and rave about Clan DunBroch!

But let's jump right into talking about this episode. Starts out in the past with breaking out Lanselot, which we didn't

0:57.0

really get to see why are they breaking out Lanselot?

1:01.4

Why not?

1:02.2

He's a good guy.

1:03.5

Well, who's been unjustly imprisoned.

1:07.8

They've decided they have to work against Arthur, so they need that ally that's been

1:13.6

thrown into that dank prison. Well, and didn't, they kind of landed him there too, right?

1:19.8

When they were under the spell. Oh, yeah. Yeah. They did kind of do that. It's even more confusing

1:25.2

because Granny's is in both timelines. That has been

1:29.2

confusing. I actually think I had to correct one of our hashtags. I think that might also be one of

1:35.9

the reasons that Bell's hair looks so different in this episode compared to others. Like,

1:40.8

Bell looked very different, and it's primarily her hair was very different. I think to help us understand the difference between Bell and Merida in Storybrook and Bell and Merida in Enchanted Forest. Oh, that's a good call. That's probably true. She did look very different, though, in other ways, too, I think. Yeah. I couldn't quite figure it out. I figured Jenny would probably know if Jenny was here, she would be able to say, oh, yeah, she did her eye makeup completely differently or like her eyebrows are tweez differently or I don't know.

2:11.7

It could be makeup. It almost looked like she's lost weight, not that it seemed like she had any to lose, but that's kind of how her face

2:18.9

looks somehow thinner or something.

2:21.0

I would agree with that too.

2:22.4

Yeah.

2:22.9

I mean, I'm sorry, I'm failing as the token girl on the podcast.
