We're taking a pause in Luke, and we're going to be in the Old Testament in 2 Chronicles

Chapter 20.

Second Chronicles chapter 20 provides for us a model on how to approach and handle the battles

of life.

We're going to take the principles that we are going to learn here from this literal battle

and apply these principles to the different battles that we face as Christians.

Listen, the Christian life is a battle.

It is.

The Christian life is a battle.

Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse 3, he says,

to be a soldier for Jesus Christ and to endure suffering as a soldier of the Lord.

So we are in a battle.

Now, the different battles that we face as believers can come in various different forms.

There are internal battles. There are battles of deep bouts of anxiety or depression or

fear and worry. There are different practical battles that we face financially. We face different

battlecals in our marriage. There's marital difficulty. There's physical financially. We face different battlecals in our marriage.

There's marital difficulty.

There's physical battles.

We fight over battles of sickness or illnesses.

We fight battles over our health.

Whatever battle you might be facing this morning or whatever battle you might face tomorrow

because you know as life goes, it has its hills and valleys.
