Summary

It’s approaching July 1943 and German forces have pushed on to Kursk, north of the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. 

As they await the spring thaw and recommencement of hostilities, the Russians are digging in for a long defensive fight and future counter-offensive.  

It’s clear the Germans are beatable, but can the Red Army take advantage of their superior supply lines, rations & vehicles, and partizan support from locals? Or will their far higher casualty rates level the playing field? Al and James survey the preparations for battle…

rehearsals all week. We last ran the play a week ago on Friday and then we did

technical rehearsal since which is basically hold on their wait for lighting and

you stand around for half an hour and then they go hold on wait for lighting and

then you stand around for another three minutes and they go great okay do it again

you come in through the door and they go hold on we're waiting for lighting so we

had basically had that most of last week and then Friday night so we ran out of

time to actually run a dress rehearsal proper so Friday night. That's a bit

frustrating. Yeah but it was fine really because it certainly concentrated

minds and the senses put it that way. So we yeah we did we had we had we sold out

Friday and Saturday which is which is great fun. It's amazing. Yeah it's genuinely

amazing and you smashed it obviously. Yeah it was great it was really good fun.
