At the night of April 18, 1998, 28-year-old Randy Meebrewer sat on the couch watching TV.

Her three-year-old son Michael never made it through an entire movie, and tonight was

no exception.

The hero got the girl, there was a huge musical number, and Michael slept through it all.

As a single mom, Randy was more than happy to have a night in.

It was a cool spring evening.

The perfect temperature to stay inside and watch a sappy movie.

Even if she had to watch most of it by herself, at least she thought she was alone.
