Well, greetings, imagination connoisseurs. Once again, it is I, your duke of dope discourse,

your master of fun and wonder, your vice-versa-militude, and, as John Campiolex to call me, your

existential Mr. Rogers, that's why Robert, Meyer, Burnett, and I have the joyous task of

bringing you another part of our The Batman spoiler discussion. I'm just going to jump

right into it, because my God, I can't wait to hear from you. We're going to start with

Andy. Andy, Andy, one of three. Andy says, I think this was, I think this was Batman

understanding that vengeance, what wasn't having an effect, and thus was transitioning over

to justice. Bruce came off as a selfish prick, beating criminals to fulfill vengeance for

his trauma, but he never addressed the criminal elements and the things that lead to it.

I loved how he even gets called out by Selena for it. Andy, I think you're absolutely right.

And I think that's one of the things that makes this movie as good as it is. And the question

he asks, he even says at the beginning in that voiceover that even though he's been out on the

streets patrolling and doing his Batman things for two years, he hasn't had any effect on the crime.

The crime has just gone up and, you know, getting vengeance is not solving the root of the problem.

And I think by the end, one of the reasons I like the movie so much is by the end of the film,

he realizes that justice is more important than vengeance. And I think, I mean, I don't know

how profound that is, but it's definitely a question and answer that has not been posed by any

other Batman movie. And I think the way Matt Reeves did it, both in his script and then the film

itself, his direction, it really goes a long way toward making this movie something definitely

special. And I think, I think a lot of people are responding to that. Raymond Verrata sends in a

super chat and says, from the super pets trailer, Keanu as the new Batman, I know, man, and he sounds

good. He sounds good. I mean, I've been a Keanu Reeves fan all the way back since River's Edge.
