Red Sox win. They've won three in a row. In that comment, we've played better. We've played better. Three in a row, winners of three in a row, the Red Sox heading into a series opener with the Chicago White Sox tonight in Chicago in Chicago in the most depressing ballpark in America, by the way. That place? Oh, my God, was that a wretched place to watch a baseball game?

And I don't even mean the aesthetics of the ballpark.

2:04.5

I'm just going to get this off my chest. That place, depressing. Depressing that ballpark always has been. I've only ever driven by it. Not in the best area, I understand, right? So that's part of it, I think. but honestly, I'm just talking about the atmosphere in the ballpark that, you know, a lot of people say, well, you know, you're right on the edge there of the south side of Chicago, which is a rough neighbor. It's a, you know, it's a tough place. And so people cite that and I suppose that that is a huge element and people not necessarily wanting to go to the ballpark. But it's just antiseptic in terms of once you're in there. Well, it's that, but it's also the fact that it's, I guess it's the White Sox. You know, the Cubs are the team in town when it comes to baseball anyway. So there aren't White Sox like being a Mets fan. You know, it's sort of the same thing. And you go into the ballpark and it's just you sit there and you watch the games and the crowd's

it to be a horribly depressing place to cover baseball I'm not kidding I. I'm 100% serious. I know you're not. It was so every time, and I love the city. That was the oddity of it. So when the Red Sox wouldn't play Chicago, I used to say, oh, it's good. It's Chicago. And then I'd go cover the game and go, oh, my God, this place sucks. It's awful. It is so freaking awful. It's a horrible place to watch baseball. And again, it has more to do with the fans and the environment than anything else. Who's a White Sox fan? Who? Have you ever met a White Sox fan? Hawk Harrelson. Oh, my God. Seriously, it's just, it's dreadful. Anyway, that's where the Red Sox are for the weekend.
