In spring training we felt absolutely great about the situation early in the season he ended up playing so-so i guess is the way we describe it there were some

encouraging signs and there were some other signs that weren't as a positive it was during spring

training but now we're in a situation you need to see it on a consistent basis. And we think he can do it. He's in

great shape. I saw him moving around. He's in the best shape that I've seen him in years. So he's moving around well. But now he's got to go out and he's got to do it for us. That's Red Sox President and Dave Dombrovsky talking about Pablo Sandoval in particular.

And I think the Red Sox have reached a crisis point with Sandoval.
