They apparently have announced Hector Velasquez as a starting pitcher for the game on Thursday.

So they're going to play a four-game series with the A starting on Thursday.

John Farrell had said he wanted to put someone in between Porcelo and Chris Sale to sort of minimize the wear and tear on the bullpen or the drain on the bullpen. You're going to get innings, obviously, when Porcelo pitches, you're going to get innings when sale pitches, so why have them go back to back? ultimately means you're going to tax your bullpen for three days, so that makes a lot of sense. And Hector Velasquez apparently now will start for the Red Sox on Thursday in Oakland, 28-year-old. I think he was signed as a minor league free agent. Yeah. And just again, this is the guy who pitched in spring training and pitched pretty well, and
