And so last night on this program, there were people who called in and said David Price was

ducking the Yankees and I vehemently disagreed with them.

I felt last night like Price needed to be defended because frankly I thought that he

had something bad going on in his arm and something worrisome going on in his arm.

We find out today, according to Red Sox manager Alex Cora, that what Price has is a mild case of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Now, look, I don't doubt that what he has is significant enough where he's lost feeling in his hands, and it's affecting how he pitches.

The real question is how Price got the carpal tunnel syndrome.

And before we get to that, let me just say, many of you know, I covered the Red Sox for about 15 years.

And when I say 15 years, I mean 15 honest years.
