You're back in town for the weekend?

That was the deal.

Whenever the Red Sox are back, I'm back. I'll hop on a, you know, a cheap little $12 bus come back at, you know, 7 o'clock in the morning. And that's my duty. I'm not going to abandon Boston or the Red Sox. Okay. So for those of you who are unaware, Jared's usually with us on Tuesday nights. That was the plan at the beginning of the baseball season. He would join us every Tuesday on the baseball reporters. And then halfway through the year, he got a new opportunity to move down to New York for Barstools. So off he went. We haven't been able to figure out the technical part of it yet, but we're still working on that. It's about my pay grade. We still hope to have you on Tuesday nights. I would love to be doing that.

But you're back in town for the weekend.

Yankees are also here and again, 617-779-0-98-5. Here is what I'm going to offer. I want to ask you about the renaming of Yawkeye Way. Okay. I wrote about this today. Okay. But I don't want to take a ton of phone calls on it.

Because I'm sick of the phone calls on it if you want to know the truth.

Because it's easy to go off on a tangent on this particular. Oh, it's absurd. I mean, to me, it comes down to this simple thing. The Yawkey legacy tainted the Red Sox forever. Okay? It tainted the Red Sox forever.

And if the new ownership now wants to distance itself from that ownership group as a result, I get it.

I'm in favor of it.

I think it's a good move.

I think it would help the franchise turn the page with a, you know, obviously a symbolic

gesture, but I would think it really can help the franchise move forward because the fact is they have one of the most diverse teams in baseball on the field now.

Okay.
