| 0:05.0 | Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |

| 0:13.0 | Now as we're preparing for Christmas and also preparing to consecrate ourselves to Mary on January 1st, |

| 0:32.6 | At the end of the baptism of Jesus, a voice from heaven was heard saying, |
| 0:37.1 | This is my beloved son with whom I am well |
| 0:39.9 | pleased. God the Father loves his son, not because of anything the son is done. In fact, the baptism is |
| 0:50.4 | the very beginning of his public ministry. He hasn't really done much yet. However, the father |
| 0:56.8 | expresses his delight in his son because he wants his son to exist, and he thinks the son makes the |
| 1:05.8 | world a better place just by being in it. That is precisely what the love of God means. |
| 1:14.1 | Whatever God wants to exist, he also delights in it. |
| 1:19.2 | He approves of it. |
| 1:21.3 | If he did not, then it would not exist. |
| 1:24.3 | It's that simple. |
| 1:26.5 | Do you exist? Well, of course. Well, then God delights in you. |
| 1:36.1 | Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it be your name. Thy kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven. |
| 1:42.8 | Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, |
| 1:47.3 | as we forgive those who trespass against us, |
