0:16.5	celebrated the Feast of Epiphany.
0:20.0	And it is the day where the church celebrates the baptism of the Lord Jesus.
0:28.6	I grew up in a community called Tarpon Springs, for those of you who don't know.

0:44.5	But I grew up in a community, a really wonderful, beautiful community that I love and miss.

0:54.0	And every year, on January the 6th the community
0:57.8	celebrated epiphany and the boys who are 16 to 18 jump into the bayou as the archbishop
1:05.2	throws a cross into the bayou and then the winning whoever gets the cross comes out with a blessing
1:13.7	from from the archbishop and the priests and the community unfortunately growing up there
1:20.7	i really didn't know the beauty of what we were celebrating which can really happen if you're steeped in tradition
1:28.9	and never really ask the right questions. I'm not assigning blame. I'm just saying this was my
1:33.8	experience. And it is a really holy, holy moment, speaking of the Lord's baptism that I want to
1:43.0	talk about today. One of the great's baptism that I want to talk about today.
