For me, this is almost more a bit more of like a John Ford Western.

So like a lot of the storyboards had shot through doorways of the action or windows or, brought to you by the Directors Guild of America.

In this episode, two lifelong friends navigate a relationship impasse in director

Martin McDonagh's comedic drama, The Banshees of Inneshaeran.

Set on a remote island near Ireland's west coast, the film follows the shocking series of events

that ensue when Column tries to abruptly end a lifelong friendship with Padraic, while Padrake

refuses to take no for an answer.

In addition to the Banshees of Innesharen, McDonagh's other directorial credits include the feature films, Seven Psychopads, and Inbreuge.

He was nominated for the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Fe feature film for his 2017 film,

three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Following a screening of the film

at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles,

McDonough spoke with director Jeremy Kagan

about filming the Banshees of Inasharon.
