1:02.4	Rob Manfred, MLB Commissioner, among several other initiatives that have been going on for the last couple of years, Rob Manfred has made the decision to lift some of these
1:08.7	permanent bands that have been placed on past players.
1:12.7	And some of them are lightning rod issues and guys that are the biggest faces of people
1:19.4	that have been excluded from the Hall of Fame.
1:21.5	And it does beg the question of what happens with another set of players after this
1:26.3	ruling has come down.
1:29.2	So the long short of it is, especially around here and especially in terms of conversation pieces,
1:35.0	is Pete Rose, his permanent ban, his permanent lifetime ban, has been lifted from Major League Baseball,
1:39.7	which means that beginning in, I believe, 2026 or maybe the beginning of 2027, a now special
1:47.0	Hall of Fame committee can now make a ruling on whether to put Pete Rose into the Hall of Fame or not.
1:52.5	His permanent ban has been lifted.
