Hey everybody we're back with another uh... baldies bollies twenty one where the

deliberations keep being deliberated again it's a stupid award show at least as

dumb as any others we just try to be a bit more transparent about it.

Starting with the commissions, best commission of the year, I like this category. I'm glad to see it back, and back strong.

Did 15 commission film last year and we you know when we first did this we realize well shoot if we just make

it's a popularity contest like you know you'll you'll it'll be boring you know if it's just like the quality of the

thing the person yeah sent in intrinsically well so we came up with the system we like to call myths. It stands for media

quality, which is, that is your subjective, how good is this movie? Did we like it or a TV show,

whatever? Interest. Did it generate interesting

conversation? That is another subjective thing. Me and Jim, you know, but there's also the fun

aspect which is did this movie generate hilarity and delight in and the conversation around it.

And finally, surprise, this is the thing

that makes or breaks movies, be controversial.

Yeah, but honestly, one of the things I love most about the Bald, the, the, the,

Commission podcast is being surprised by something I never would have thought to see or watch and being delighted.

So yeah, I, I, I, I, it's not perfect, but again, we're transparent about it.

Which, you know, movies like Jurassic Park, which is number 15 on our list here are not high and

surprise so like they might be excellent in other ways right but yeah you know I feel like

it bounces out right we've we've a lot of these movies we've seen,

so they won't be very surprising,

but we've seen them because they're good movies, like big movies,

and so their media quality will be very high.
