From the center of the galaxy, this is the 4-center podcast feed.

0:13.6

From the center of the galaxy, this is the 4-center podcast feed, and this particular episode is the bad batch report.

0:21.6

Wonderful, wonderful drums of excitement for this exciting episode. I was curious if Ken was going to make drums or the horn of a tech Kaiju rising up from the mountain crumbles.

0:40.0

There's over some great trailer noises, right? The noise that has dominated trailers for the last decade of baaaah.

0:47.2

Oh, yeah.

0:49.2

Yeah, I just can't make that sound. I think I've done too much screeching in this part of the show. We're going to back to some music news.

0:56.2

Fair enough, fair enough. I'm Joseph Screamtry, and the person making wonderful mouth noises is Ken Napsock. We're going to make some warm mouth noises that are hopefully all words or mostly words.

1:07.2

As we discuss this newest episode of the bad batch, it is season 2, episode 5 entitled Intuned, written by Christopher Yost, directed by Nathaniel Villanova, a name that should be very familiar to animated Star Wars fans.

1:23.2

And the season continues to be story edited by Matt Munchenevitz. Can we always like to start with our viewing experiences? Did you stay up for the Midnight Experience?

1:34.2

I did the jazz album of Star Wars. Yeah, I have not yet for any bad batch episode because we're blessed, unfortunately, to have the screeners. So I've just kind of relied on that.

1:44.2

And then also went to bed early and missed a rather sizable earthquake in LA, which is rare because I actually love earthquakes. And I miss them in a weird way.

1:53.2

I don't want any destruction or death, but I like earthquakes. It kicks in in adrenaline. I enjoy and I missed it. I slept through it, slept your bad batch, slept through the earthquake.

2:01.2

So I'd watch the screener a couple days ago. Did you do anything special? Or was it just like, hey, it's Sunday afternoon or whatever?

2:08.2

You know what? That's a great question. I had a little bit of the, I got to sit down and watch this.

2:15.2

And that can sometimes not be the best frame of mind to watch anything. I had that like, we were doing a review, but early, all right, let me make some super watch.

2:25.2

And super watching, sometimes it's great. Sometimes it's just like you take it in, which might have, now that I think about it, might have fueled the way I looked at this episode at first.

2:34.2

Yeah. Yeah. I know you have an affinity with records. So when you describe yourself eating soup and watching this, I just, I picture you as record going, aw, so strong.

2:43.2

Just as loud. Just as loud.

2:47.2

Nice loud is slurping. Yeah, that's great. I'm in the same boat. I watched the midnight experience of the premiere of bad batching was just so tired.

2:57.2

I had to watch them again in the morning immediately. So I have been watching the screeners, which we're lucky to have.

3:03.2

I watched this one right after we recorded two episodes of four center. So just like, I'm in zone. It's not okay.

3:09.2

It's Star Wars watch and think in time. So I made a little lunch and watch the episode and really enjoyed it. And I think that it is great to try to still make it a little bit of a ritual, which I was really glad that we could in particular because last night I fell asleep.
