Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin, and welcome to this week's episode where we're talking all about the Bad Batch episode, Cornered. And this aired on

May 21st, 2021. It was written by Christian Thomas, and it was directed by Saul Ruiz. And this was a

really fun episode. So good. This is really cool because Christian Thomas is a name I haven't seen

in a while, and he wrote a lot of Clone Wars episodes. Actually, he wrote like the best

Clone Wars episodes, which are Mortis, the Clovis arc, which honestly I love, the Yoda arc,

which we have a whole episode series on, the Asoka Youngling's arc, which is won Emmys.

He's just great. I really like it when Christian Thomas does Star War.

Does Star War, yeah. Yeah, I don't think I realized that he had been a head writer for these arcs

specifically. So it was, I feel like with Bad Batch, I've been diving a little bit more deeper into,

or just diving deeper. I've been Googling the, uh, the writers. I definitely wasn't doing that

back when Coneurs was first airing. Yeah. Well, back when Cone Wars came out, there was this like

implicit understanding that at the writers table, that big table that they used to show all the time at Skywalker Ranch, there was an ongoing conversation with George Lucas and Dave.

And it was just like a whole thing.

So there's a lot of things that come from those episodes that are like, oh, no, that's George, that's George, that's

George. But like, of course, writing the screenplay and developing it is separate from that.

Yeah, exactly. What I thought was interesting, too, is that Christian Thomas has also been a writer

and producer for shows like Luke Cage, lost, and Teen Wolf. The New Teen Wolf. I watched the new Teen Wolf almost throughout its entire run. It was good.

It had some real gems in there.

Yeah, I heard that. I did not watch it. That's not my cup of tea, but it's good for you,

Caitlin. I'm glad. Lost is a solid pick, though, on that list. I feel like there's a lot of overlap of Star Wars fans and
