Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin, and happy May the 4th,

2021. Yay. Happy Star Wars Day and May the 4th be with you. May the 4th be with you. It's so fun.

Today, it's just, I've been looking forward to it all week, like for the past few weeks, really.

I know me too. I should have taken it off work. It's such a big deal as a Star Wars fan this

particular day. So much happens. There's so many good things that are kind of released online.

I'm just really happy. It's here. And I love that Star Wars now acknowledges it. It used to be like a

me-me-y thing. And now Star Wars is in on the joke and they fully celebrate it. It's great.

They're like, yes, this is our holiday. Let's own it. Yeah. And I really appreciate that just as a

social media manager that they took something that like kind of formed organically as a funny

inside joke and then made it their own and are like, yeah, no, our name trends every day this year. So we're

going to capitalize on that. And they're going to be smart about it. They do. And it's great.

Yeah. Well, it makes a lot of sense to, especially, you know, during the sequel trilogy era,

when a lot of, you know, all of the episodic films were coming out in December. And then it's like you

kind of have this nice thing a couple months later, like this big event kind of mid year, aside from like

years where like solo was coming out to go on during May since May really is kind of Star Wars month

historically and now via meme land. it's keep the tradition going that May

is always going to have some big thing for Star Wars, whether it's a summer release like

solo, whether it was all of, you know, episodes 1 through 6 being released in May, and now May

the fourth day to actually being, you know, a quote unquote official holiday from Star Wars.

And now we get to celebrate a basically annual tradition of experiencing Order 66 over and over again.
