If you haven't heard, the state of Texas is under invasion from small creatures who

are popping up everywhere.

As the Texas Tribune put it, nearly 10,000 more babies, born in 9 months under Texas Restrictive

Abortion Mall.

Researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School arrived at this number by comparing Texas

births after the passing of Senate Bill A, which prohibits abortion after conception,

with a number of births in the same period the year before.

One of the studies co-authors told CNN that 10,000 new babies must mean women were, quote,

denied a needed abortion.

It's hard to imagine the short and long-term implications of a personal trajectory that

may have been rerouted, she warned ominously, referring to the moms.

Of course, it's even harder to imagine the implications for a child to deny the right

to even have a personal trajectory, ultimately interpreting the Texas baby boom will depend on

worldview.

It's either a tragedy where it's 10,000 inherently valuable, unique, and beautiful reasons

to celebrate.
