Today I woke up different and I decided that I'm no longer going to continue to live a life afraid to truly be myself and truly express the things that I have real interest in and one of those things is spirituality in discovering oneself

through consciousness. I know it's not a popular topic to talk about but last night when I went into deep meditation I had an awakening,

well a second awakening I should say and things are making more and more sense to me and I can no longer

Stand to contribute to a world that is so superficial and so out of whack. You know I know that we all have to live here

and exist and the world is what it is but do I have to follow suit with everything that's told to me?

Why can't I just be myself?

And talk about the things that speak life to me. Talking about spirituality and

consciousness is not the popular thing, especially when it's coming from

someone like me per se. You know I faced a lot of ridicule for talking about these

things in the past and I'm going to be honest with you

to it made me go back into a shell and not want to share these things or talk about them out of fear

of being exiled, being ridiculed, being bashed, being laughed at, but hey, they laughed at

and they still do.

So that's who I follow. I know who my creator is and at this point I have a voice and my duty

is to continue to share knowledge that inspires and awaken the people and that is the journey that I am on.

That is the entire reason why I started this podcast.

That is the entire reason why I took my blog at simply Shanika so make sure you guys follow

it and changed the perception of what I was putting out there

because it's not doing any good if it's not helping to

uplift the people.

I know a lot of the things that I'm talking about right now may not resonate with

everyone because everyone is in a different place on their journey right now
