Welcome. It is Thursday evening and that means you are here with the audible live.

We've got Thursday night football going on. It's half time and we are seeing a one-sided game,

but it's not one-sided in the direction that many probably expected. The Chicago Bears are

winning right now 27-23 and it's a very, it's not, you know what happens sometimes in sports is

you get a team that thinks that they've got an easy one going on and you get another team that's

a little bit fed up with everything else that's going on with them. And I think that that's the

exact thing that's happening tonight. Chicago has come out angry and they have a big lead right now

in Washington, but I'm here with my great friend Matt Waldman. We do this every week and Matt,

how are you this week? I'm doing great and you know, I think it's fitting that the Chicago Bears

should pound the Washington commanders because you know, look, Dippuck is passed away tonight.

So, you know, I think anybody who's a football fan, even if you don't know who Dippuck is was

or never even saw him play, but you maybe saw, go on to YouTube and watch Dippuck is play. And

you'll understand what physical meant, you know, back then because it was really, I mean, you would

joke that it's actually literally a felony, you know, compared to what you're seeing in football

today. But Dippuck is was an amazing football player. The definition of really what you wanted

from a middle linebacker and, you know, apparently an absolute sweetheart off the field. You know,

but literally before LT, before Lawrence Taylor, there and before Ray Lewis, it was Dippuck is

and it was Dippuck is for many, many years. So, you know, we wish, you know, on behalf of all football

fans and folks who appreciate the history of the game, you know, condolences to his family into

the Chicago Bears because, you know, hopefully they honor him right here tonight and it looks like

they're on their way to doing that. And, you know, Denver, you look at Denver last week, certainly

their defense is awful. And, you know, Aaron Schatz says it's one of the worst in recent memory
