and one that changed the course of World War II.

It's the Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor, and it's here today on this special bonus episode

Hello everyone and welcome to the show.

I'm your host Boat, and typically you'll hear my voice during our regular Warbird series,

but today I'm shifting gears just a touch to cover one of the darkest days in American history.

Now if you're listening to the show on release day, December 7th, 2021, then exactly

80 years ago today, at approximately 8 a.m. Hawaii time, the Naval and Army forces of

the United States, stationed in Hawaii, were attacked by the Naval and Air Forces of

the Empire of Japan.

Now if you're like me, you've probably read a book or two or have even maybe seen

a movie on Pearl Harbor at some point in your life.

But by no means are they all accurate or all encompassing on the subject.

So to help me set the record straight and provide some real factual context, what has happened

is Mr. Bert Kinsey, a U.S. Army veteran, and the president of detail and scale aviation

publications, as well as the author of a fantastic book on our subject today, Attack on Pearl
