I'm going to speak to a man named Chris Buccafusco from the organization Bravest ATL.

Now, Bravest ATL is an organization that works against indigenous mascoting, as you might imagine from its name, Bravest ATL. It all started in Atlanta for the Atlanta Braves. And it's really a fascinating story of how they came together,

especially in these difficult times to speak out against racism, particularly racism against

indigenous folks. That's Chris Bucco. You've got to hear what he has to say. Also, I have voices on this

week's podcast from the big march that took place over this last week. It was called the March for

Mumia. And the intention of it was to raise awareness, not just about prisoner, wrongfully convicted

prisoner, Mumia Abu Jamal, but also it's about

elder abuse inside the prison walls and health care abuse inside the prison walls, those issues

being very connected and both issues that Mumi Abu Jamal has had to deal with.

I'm doing great, Dave. Thanks so much for having me on. I'm really excited to do this. It's a great

program. Yeah, I mean, first and foremost, I just want to give my listeners

some background. Talk to us a little bit about Bravest ATL and particularly the evolution of it

as an organization. Yeah, I'd be happy to. So Bravest was started by me and my brother Marty back in

about 2018. Marty and I grew up in

Augusta, Georgia. So we spent our whole lives as Atlanta sports fans, but especially Atlanta Braves fans.

You know, I go all the way back. I'm the older of the brother. So I go all the way back to the

Dale Murphy and Bob Horner days.
