Chad Graf of the Athletic in Chad. It's this draft week man we. We finally made it. All of the mocks, all of the Sims, all of the analysis, the debates, they all come to fruition this Thursday. How jacked are you?

At long last.

I remember seeing mock drafts in week 15 for, you know, the poor jags and lions fans

who just wanted something to look forward to back when the Vikings were clinging to an outside chance of the playoffs. But here we are. I don't know. I actually do look forward to this quite a bit. I kind of, you know, embrace it for what it is,

enjoy the mocks and whatnot in April,

but by the time we get to this point in late April,

I've read enough mocks, I've read your scouting reports,

I've seen what I need to see, like like let's do this thing for real now.

Right the hay is in the barn at this point but let me ask you a question before we get into our

flaming hot predictions which is the point of this. So Mike Florio called the

draft un-American which I think is like super super aggressive man like okay but but

like they caught like the top picks are gonna get like

11 million dollars so they're they're doing okay for themselves

they are not being incredibly victimized.

However, I did have it go through my mind not too long ago.

Somebody asked the Friday mailbag question about like,

what if there was no draft?

And what if every team had to negotiate with these players

and it created an NFL signing day

to where the league had a whole day of announcing

all of the signings and teams had to manage their cap with the plans to make offers to players coming out in in the
