As an engineer, I love that any design idea that I could have can be tested and proven to either work or not work.

In my field, when things don't produce the outcomes promised or expected, we throw it out and we make something better, something that will produce the desired outcomes.

This is how the world should work.

Yet, even with the success of science and engineering in our modern times,

societies are still clinging to poorly designed man-made religions that do not live up to the hype.

In fact, for thousands of years, the religions of the world have been actively harming humanity

rather than bearing good fruit for them. Rather than benefiting and sustaining the

human race, religion has been poisoning it. All God concepts have been a bait and switch for thousands

of years. Jesus himself said, if your child asked for bread, would you give them a stone? If your

child asked for a fish, would you give them a snake? We've been asking for bread

and getting stones. Asking for fish but getting snakes. Asking for peace but getting wars.

Asking for leaders but getting charlatans. Asking for shepherds but getting predators.

Asking for truth but getting gaslit. Asking for deliverance but getting oppression. Asking for truth but getting gaslit, asking for deliverance but getting oppression,

asking for equality but getting marginalized, asking for guidance for our family and children,

but getting child abusers instead.

2,000 years ago, a Jewish reformer stood up against the religious leaders of his day and challenged

their inability to produce good fruit,

saying, even now, the axe is laying at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Today, ladies and gentlemen, humanity is that an impasse with toxic and poisonous trees of religion, already dying from the rot

inside and the blight at the roots. The axe is now raised with both hands high in the air,

glistening in the light of truth and honesty, ready to fell the malignant tree. And we are asking

you tonight, can you give us one good reason not to strike the root of this tree and throw
