Hey everyone. A lot of times we start these shows off by pointing out some of the many

factual errors in various holy books or denounce the terrible ideas that some

followers of those books believe in. the or the defense of the atrocities committed in its name.

But today, I'm not even going to mention it.

Today, I want to talk about atheist community.

So there are definitely some believers and even some atheists who think

that gathering together regularly in community with each other is too similar to

religion. This is ridiculous. Gathering together is another normal human thing

that religion has tried to claim as exclusively theirs. Allowing religions to get even non-believers to accept that community is something only religious people do

keeps us from really making progress in terms of normalizing atheism. We need to gather together, not only

so we can really make change, but also for the basic human need of being with others.

And that's what we do here at the ACA.
