Summary

It is one of the world's great unsolved murders. Ten years ago, Pakistan's most prominent politician, a woman people would form human chains to protect from assassins, died in a suicide blast. The intervening years have brought allegations, arrests and a UN inquiry – but not one murder conviction. The victim was Benazir Bhutto.

0:17.0	2007 Benazir Bhutto is addressing a huge rally in the city of Raal Pindi, or Pindi as Pakistanis say, she has minutes to live.
0:30.0	It's been 71 days since she returned to Pakistan to run for Prime Minister. In that time
0:40.0	suicide bombers have stalked her throughout and today one of them will hit his mark.
0:47.0	Benazir's last day began when most people were asleep.
0:54.3	Pakistan's intelligence chief came to her house shortly after midnight.
0:59.2	His name is General Nadim Taj.
1:02.2	His conversation with Benazir went like this.
1:05.0	You should call off the rally in Pindi.
1:10.0	We've got information that people are preparing to kill you there today.
1:14.0	Well, arrest them.
1:15.0	We can't.
1:16.0	It would compromise our sources.
1:19.0	Well, I'm going to go ahead with the rally.
1:22.0	Okay. We'll do our best to protect you.
1:29.0	The meeting with General Tage broke up around 2am,
1:32.0	and while she slept, her assassins made their final preparations. By 8 or 9 in the morning, two men working for the Pakistani Taliban had checked out the
1:52.2	park where Benazir was due to speak.
1:55.4	Then they left to get the suicide bombers ready.
1:59.0	They were given their explosive laden jackets.
2:02.0	One also took a grenade, the other took a pistol and donned
2:06.1	black sunglasses. Meanwhile the police made their preparations.
