| 0:00.0 | Charlie Kirk, a husband, a father, and a brother in Christ was killed for his ability to clearly |
| 0:06.1 | and calmly articulate his political and religious convictions with others. |
| 0:11.6 | The point of this video is not to create content off of such tragedy, but is to offer a public |
| 0:17.9 | acknowledgement and Christian comfort to those who like me have been deeply |
| 0:23.5 | troubled by the events that they witnessed last week. This tragedy is sickening first because a |
| 0:30.6 | wife and her children have lost the most important person in this world to them, their husband |
| 0:36.1 | and father. As a young man roughly Kirk's |
| 0:39.2 | age with a family of four children, I feel emotionally and physically ill at the idea of this kind |

| 1:32.2 | every public speaker and public witness of the gospel in this country. |
| 1:37.2 | This type of violence has no real authority, but it carries with it a particular type of dread. |
| 1:43.2 | Commenting on the death of a public figure, |
| 1:45.1 | especially one whom I nor the intellectual leadership at 1517 knew personally, is extremely |
| 1:50.9 | difficult. Many Christians, churches, and institutions who choose to give public comment at this time |
| 1:56.7 | will be accused of doing so simply because they are assumed to align with Kirk's political views. |
| 2:03.9 | However, organizations such as this one, 1517, operate with a much deeper connection to individuals like Charlie Kirk than simple policy or political align. |
