0:07.0	Oh my gosh you guys, I am late to the party with an incredible book that has been on my radar,
0:19.4	has been part of my consciousness for a long time.
0:21.8	I first heard about it maybe eight or nine years ago at a
0:25.3	conference people were talking about it. I've seen lots of authors who I look up to talk about
0:31.6	this book, talk about this author, and it's come up that I haven't actually
0:36.6	felt compelled to consume this book until now.
0:41.5	And as you know I have this gorgeous podcast, which I love so much, and I prioritize
0:47.2	reading books of authors that I'm interviewing, right? So I have three to five books
0:52.0	kind of always in the mix at one time leading up to my interviews.
0:56.0	But I had such an almost irrational call to read this particular book that I've put all the other books on holes and I'm consuming it and I love it.
1:06.6	It's Julia Cameron's book called The Artist's Way.
1:12.1	It is a classic, the book I just bought is actually the 30th birthday
1:16.5	edition. So this book has been around for a long time. It's helped so many people, Liz Gilbert, Martin Scorsese
1:22.3	Corsese, I mean it is, it is remarkable. In fact, I'm hoping to have
1:27.3	Julia Cameron on the podcast. But there are two core things this book teaches.
1:33.7	It's not just for artists in terms of fine artists or writers or movie directors.
1:38.4	It's for everyone.
1:40.4	Because my friends, we are all at our core creatives.
1:45.0	This book tells us you know we that that we are all divine creations
1:49.0	and so us showing up and creating is our gift back to the Creator. Creativity is natural, it's inside all of us,
1:58.9	it brings us towards our own divinity and how quickly we abandon it, right?
