Oh my gosh you guys, I am late to the party with an incredible book that has been on my radar,

has been part of my consciousness for a long time.

I first heard about it maybe eight or nine years ago at a

conference people were talking about it. I've seen lots of authors who I look up to talk about

this book, talk about this author, and it's come up that I haven't actually

felt compelled to consume this book until now.

And as you know I have this gorgeous podcast, which I love so much, and I prioritize

reading books of authors that I'm interviewing, right? So I have three to five books

kind of always in the mix at one time leading up to my interviews.

But I had such an almost irrational call to read this particular book that I've put all the other books on holes and I'm consuming it and I love it.

It's Julia Cameron's book called The Artist's Way.

It is a classic, the book I just bought is actually the 30th birthday

edition. So this book has been around for a long time. It's helped so many people, Liz Gilbert, Martin Scorsese
