This is very exciting.

We have been, I guess we actually haven't been thinking about this that long. This was

kind of one of those, well, we thought about doing the artist's way together for a long time,

but I think the idea to do a podcast kind of left into our minds and we ran with it.

Yes, indeed. We did, I think, briefly start the artist's way back in, I want to say, perhaps February

of this year, January of this year, something like that.

I think I personally made it through about two or three weeks.

And then it just sort of fizzled off into the busyness at the time.

So I think this is going to be extremely good for both of us.

So all that said, we are very excited for all of our listeners, whoever that is, to do our Elena and Joy weekly check-in.

But I suppose we should start off by introducing ourselves, how we know each other, and why we are doing this reading through the artist's way together.

So do you want to start with you?

Absolutely.

We met technically at the very end of high school when we were both doing speech and debate

together on an award stage somewhere in Southern California.

I think that must have been the Concordia tournament in Irvine, something like that.

And then we ended up a few months later, probably six months later, at the same college.
