Summary

Republicans and Democrats in the Senate have come to rare agreement, crafting a trillion dollar-plan to fix infrastructure across the country.

After weeks of negotiation, a bipartisan group of senators have put forth a plan to restore America’s infrastructure. The more than $1 trillion plan to improve roads, bridges, pipes, ports and lines of communication could be a centerpiece of Joe Biden’s presidency — unless he has his own deal in the works. 0:58.4	Also on Friday, Florida reported its highest one day total of cases since the pandemic began.
1:04.7	At the same time that cases are rising, people are getting vaccinated at faster rates than
1:08.8	we've seen since the beginning of the summer.
1:11.1	In fact, we found out this afternoon that the US has now hit President Biden to vaccination
1:15.8	goal a month late.
1:17.5	70% of adults have now received at least one shot.
1:21.5	But experts say that this surge is going to get worse before it gets better.
1:25.4	I don't think we're going to see lockdowns.
1:27.5	I think we have enough of the percentage of people in the country, not enough to crush
