Okay, so I'd like to start by sharing a quote by the teacher, Dilgao Kancei Rinpoche,

who says, meditation could be said to be the art of simplicity, simply sitting, simply

breathing, and simply being.

Meditation could be said to be the art of simplicity, simply sitting, simply breathing,

and simply being.

So, I like something about this, I like a lot about this.

I think it is a really fair thing to say, to see meditation as the art of simplicity.

And I think it runs deeper than this might come across, right?

I think we could see this more simply as like, yeah, my life is pretty chaotic, and meditation

just helps me simplify things.

I'm just going to take some time to be still and not be so caught in my thoughts.

All true, but I'd say that's more of a surface level interpretation of this and application

of this.

I think one of the real powers of this, and Rinpoche is pointing to here, is that there's

actually tremendous wisdom and insight in dropping into the actual simplicity of this

moment.
